 Marc Van-Damme (ex Death Nature, album Masquerade '96) and Cédric Grané, decide to create Shed in 1999, mixing the electronic with acoustic sounds.
In 2000, 2 songs are in Micro & Musique: an 18 000 readership magazine. The final change to the musical and visual concept of Shed is Marion Desruelles on vocals. The song "Tale of a Fool", saw Shed's music in the top 5 in the national competition "Les coups de pouces du Label Mozaïc
In 2002, the band works on the soundtrack for Raphaël Richard's short film (AtlantideV2) and produce their first 8 songs album "Electronic Tales". This album immediately obtains some reviews in the written press (Keyboards magazine, Soundkeys, La Voix du Nord, Nord Eclair), in many webzines (indiepoprock.net, i-muzzik.net), and plays on rotation on French, Japanese, Belgium and Switzerland radio stations, as well as features on French TV station M6 and C9TV.
2 songs are also on the CD Sampler #2 of Str8line Records.
In 2003, "Sharks" is in the compilation "SYNTHETIQUE - French Electronic Pop Compilation" produced by BOREDMproduct, but equally 2 songs are on compilation "Solidarité musique" to the profits of "Stop Aids". In parallel, 2 compositions are realized for the film fantastico-horror entitled "The Lab" of Laurent Tissier. Shed is writing, recording & producing songs for the latest Raphael Richard film "Hôtel Camellia".
Shed do concerts mixing video on stage (Guest of Aston Villa, Festival Les Uns Désirables) and continue to compose new songs for a future album.
In may 2005, Shed participates in "A revolving World - Tribute to New Order" with "The perfect kiss" and in the compilation "Celsius" produced by Pilotti with the song "Ordinary Binary Man".They sign also "A french atomosphere" with the uk label CCT Records for the compilation MultiRegion (Dpulse Distribution).
In may 2006 New Album "At the Crossroads" is OUT. Available in France, in our website With PAYPAL and all digital download's websites Itunes, Deezer, fnacmusic.com, amazon, Spotify ,emusic, rhapsody …)
In june 2007 : New compilation (20 000 ex) "Musik Discover Vol.1" is out with 2 songs.
July 2008 : New release in CD SHED & FRIENDS, containing 7 club-house remixes is out . Digital distribution by Believe.
2012 : after 2 home-made video " Endless Waiting" et "Ordinary Binary Man", Shed is still written new songs and produced new videos...
